Dr. Lazarus earned his DO at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Kennedy Memorial Hospital. He completed his Visiting Fellowship at Graduate Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and has been practicing in Lancaster since 1984.
His areas of interest are inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
He has privileges at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital, WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital and UPMC Pinnacle Lititz.
Dr. Lazarus is a Lancaster native who graduated from Manheim Township High School. He and his wife reside in Lancaster.
