Meet Julie L. Hinton, MSN, CRNP

Ms. Hinton earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Pennsylvania State University, Hershey Medical Center. She completed her Post Masters certification in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care at University of Pennsylvania.

She has 20+years’ experience in GI Endoscopy, outpatient surgery and Radiology. She was a clinical instructor at Pennsylvania State University for undergraduate nursing students. She has been a preceptor for multiple nurse practitioner students.

She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), and by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC). She has been practicing as a gastroenterology CRNP in Lancaster County since 2004.

She has privileges at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital, Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center and UPMC Lititz.

Ms Hinton, her husband and two children reside in Mt Joy. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
