Biographical Info
Dr. Mathur was born and raised in New Jersey. She attended Montclair Kimberley Academy and received her BA/MD from Boston University’s prestigious Accelerated Seven year medical program. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology at New York University where she focused on Advanced Endoscopy. She has been an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Temple University School of Medicine since 2009, where she served as the Associate Director of Endoscopic Ultrasound and the Director of the GI Tumor Board. She joins Mainline Health as the Co-Director of Interventional Endoscopy. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She is very involved with the American College of Gastroenterology where she actively serves on multiple national committees. She is also a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Gastroenterological Association.
Dr. Mathur’s practice specializes in Advanced Endoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound, GI oncology, novel techniques in Colon Cancer screening as well as general gastroenterology.
Dr. Mathur lives in Delaware County with her husband and 2 young children.
