Meet Marc R. Happe, DO

I find gastrointestinal medicine to be intellectually stimulating. The subtleties and complexities involved in digestive disorders require a high level of critical thinking. Yet, it is also a personal undertaking. My objective is to take the very best possible care of each and every patient, and that means being dedicated to doing what’s best for each unique individual. No two people are alike, and no two gastroenterological cases are alike. In addition, people deal with their problems differently. Only by engaging myself personally in each person’s care am I able to provide care that is as appropriate and effective as possible.

I became a physician because I have compassion for others and want to help them. In the years that I’ve been specializing in digestive problems, I’ve only become more caring and compassionate. I see them from the perspective of an experienced, results-focused specialist and of a caring person who understands the personal, physical and mental and emotional impact. And I believe this is at the heart of the good healthcare that everyone deserves.
