Dr. Baichi joined West Chester Gastrointestinal Group in 2007 after practicing and teaching gastroenterology at the V.A. Western New York Health Care System and S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo. He has conducted research on a wide range of GI. diseases, and has presented his work at national conferences and has authored numerous scientific publications. Dr. Baichi graduated from Colgate University, received a Master of Science degree from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo and his medical degree from the S.U.N.Y. Health Science Center at Syracuse. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Rochester. He practices general gastroenterology with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis), and was recently named a “Top Doc” in Main Line Today magazine. Dr. Baichi is married and has four young children. In his spare time he enjoys fishing in the local streams.
