Biographical Info
Dr. Elkin earned his degree of Doctor of Osteopathy at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed his Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Kennedy Memorial Hospital. He was a Visiting Fellow at Graduate Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
Dr. Elkin is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and has been practicing gastroenterology in Lancaster since 1986.
His areas of interest are inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and general gastroenterology.
He has privileges at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital, WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital and UPMC Pinnacle Lititz.
Dr. Elkin and his wife live in Lititz. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, the outdoors, cycling, fishing, skiing and golf.
