Meet Khushpreet Cheema, PA-C

Khushpreet K. Cheema is a highly experienced and compassionate Physician Assistant specializing in Gastroenterology. With over a decade of clinical experience, she has developed deep expertise in managing complex gastrointestinal and hepatological conditions across both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Since 2018, Khushpreet has provided comprehensive care at a high-volume private GI practice, overseeing both acute and chronic disease management, interpreting diagnostic studies, coordinating specialty medication approvals—including biologics and antivirals—and ensuring seamless referrals across specialties. She has also played a key role in training and mentoring fellow advanced practice providers.

Her prior experience includes serving as a Surgical/Trauma PA at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, where she managed perioperative care and first assisted across multiple surgical specialties. She provided care for a wide spectrum of digestive diseases.

Khushpreet earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the City College of New York, where she was recognized for excellence in scientific research and writing.
