Leading the way.
As part of our mission to bring clinical research into areas that are typically under-represented in clinical trials, USDH actively participates in trials that offer promising medications, diagnostics, and devices for the patients we serve. Gastroenterology is a field that touches the lives of so many people. From common digestive issues to rare and complex disorders, the work of gastroenterologists makes a real difference in the world. That’s why we are so proud to be a part of the clinical research that is helping to advance the field and bring new treatments to those in need. Every day, we are inspired by the resilience and strength of those who participate in our studies. Together, we are making a real impact and changing lives for the better.
Our trials and studies typically focus on three organs: the intestines, the liver, and the esophagus. The full array of diseases we research across these organs include:
- Crohn’s Disease
- Ulcerative Colitis
- C. diff (also known as Clostridioides difficile)
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Colon Cancer
- Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease
- Liver Cirrhosis
- Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH)
- Eosinophilic Esophagitis
