Meet Irfan M. Hisamuddin, MD
Dr. Irfan M. Hisamuddin, who goes by Dr. Din, has been in practice in the field of Gastroenterology since 2007. Dr. Din’s training prior to that included a year of Advanced Post-doctoral Fellowship in Colon Cancer followed by a three-year fellowship in Clinical Gastroenterology at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Din’s clinical interests include prevention and management of colon cancer with special interest in familial colon cancer. He has done extensive clinical and basic research into the causes, prevention and treatment of colon cancer. His other areas of interests and expertise include management of acid reflux disease, stomach disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, acute and chronic liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Din lives in Talleyville with his wife and two children. They enjoy the four seasons the area has to offer and love to travel.
