Meet Kathryn Semans, PA-C

Nothing is more rewarding to Kathryn than knowing she has helped someone or has made a positive difference in their life. This is one of the main reasons why Kathryn pursued a career in the medical field. Gastroenterology deals with very personal problems and discussing them with another person can be quite difficult. There is a unique element of trust that must be established between a clinician and their patient to successfully address the patient’s GI concerns. It is Kathryn’s goal to establish this special relationship of trust with her patients so that she may understand their concerns and help them to the best of her knowledge and capability. A great deal of empathy is also crucial to achieve optimal care. By understanding her patient’s concerns and sympathizing with how they influence their quality of life, Kathryn’s hope is to always provide the best possible care.

Kathryn’s other interests include fitness, nutrition, bargain shopping, cleaning, yard work/landscaping, outdoor activities including biking, hiking, and spending time at the lake. She also cherishes time spent with friends, family and loved ones.
