Meet Lisa Barrett, DO
Dr. Lisa Barrett is a gastroenterologist who is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care for patients with a wide range of digestive health concerns. Her clinical interests include general gastroenterology, esophageal disorders, and women’s gastrointestinal health.
She completed her fellowship in gastroenterology at Jefferson Einstein Hospital, where she served as chief fellow during her training. She also completed her internal medicine residency at Jefferson Einstein Hospital, serving as chief resident.
Dr. Barrett earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Cum Laude, from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019. Prior to medical school, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Magna Cum Laude, from The Ohio State University in 2015.
Her approach to patient care is centered on understanding each patient’s concerns and goals to create a comfortable, collaborative environment. She believes in explaining diagnoses and treatment options in a clear and approachable way, empowering patients to feel informed and confident in her care.
