Meet Gaurav Kakked, MD
Dr. Gaurav A. Kakked, MBBS, MS, is a trained interventional gastroenterologist with advanced expertise in therapeutic and pancreaticobiliary endoscopy. He completed an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, following a Gastroenterology Fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, and an Internal Medicine Residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. Dr. Kakked also holds a Master of Surgery degree from India and completed his MBBS at SBKS Medical Institute and Research Center.
Board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Kakked has a strong academic and research background with numerous peer-reviewed publications. He is the recipient of multiple prestigious awards and his professional interests include pancreaticobiliary diseases and outcomes-based endoscopic research.
