Meet Minal Patel, PA-C

Minal Patel, PA-C earned her Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Delaware and her Masters of Science and Physician Assistant Studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed a fellowship in liver disease in Washington, DC. She recently completed an Advanced Practice Certification in Obesity Medicine.

She is certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of PAs, Pennsylvania Society of Gastroenterology, and American Gastroenterological Association.

She has over 20 years’ experience in general gastroenterology and liver care. She has been practicing at Digestive Disease Associates since 2010 with a focus in outpatient care. Her special interest is in fatty liver disease and works closely with her patients to understand their nutritional needs and coaches them through their weight loss process.

Minal enjoys learning about the mind-body relationship. In her free time she practices yoga and has recently taken up running as a sport. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
