Meet Christopher Shih, MD, FACG

Dr. Christopher Shih earned his B.A. at Harvard University and his M.D. at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and his fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

He is board certified in gastroenterology and has been practicing since 2004.

His areas of interest are inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and liver disease.

Dr. Shih has privileges at Penn Medicine Lancaster General, UPMC Lititz, and Penn State Lancaster hospitals.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, formerly sat on the GI Board Exam Committee for ABIM, and was named a PA Top Doc.

He also has a secondary career as a concert pianist. He has performed worldwide and has achieved international recognition.

Dr. Shih lives with his wife and children in Lancaster.
