Meet Rajesh Panchwagh, DO, FACP
Dr. Panchwagh earned his DO at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Penn State University Hershey Medical Center. He completed his fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh. He joined a private practice in York, PA in 2002 and then joined WellSpan Health in 2011. He was GI division chief at York Hospital, and on the Apple Hill Surgical Center board for 5 years.
His areas of interest include ERCP, complex polyp resection, biliary diseases, liver diseases, GI malignancies, and inflammatory bowel disease.
He is married with twins and enjoys spending time with family, friends, Maryland sports teams, and traveling. He went into gastroenterology to be able to meet people from different backgrounds, help solve complex problems, have active involvement in preventative care, be a member of a team, and be able to use the latest technology.
