Meet Swarna Gummadi, CRNP

Swarna holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the New York Institute of Technology in Manhattan, NY. She began her career in the medical field, working as a New York State EMT-B and later as a Critical Care Clinical Research Coordinator. While serving as an ICU research coordinator, she discovered her passion for nursing. She pursued and completed both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston.

Swarna is certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her nursing experience includes working in the GI and Oncologic Surgery Outpatient Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she focused on the pancreatic cyst clinic. Before relocating to West Chester, she worked as a hospitalist nurse practitioner in Chicago.

Outside of work, Swarna enjoys traveling, trying new foods and restaurants, and spending time with her husband, their dog Sparky, and her family and friends.
